About this Event
Whether you need assistance troubleshooting your sewing machine or want to darn a moth eaten sweater, receive professional guidance in our studio space. Don’t want to bring your sewing machine across town? Rent one of ours! You’ll have free range to shop through mending materials as well.
- A time and place to work on your sewing projects
- Come with your mending pile and questions
We will have the following to borrow:
- thread snips
- fabric shears
- limited thread
- pins and needles
- seam rippers
- lots of fabric scraps
- a sewing machine will be available for rent or feel free to bring your own
We also have an assortment of sewing supplies to purchase such as:
- sewing machine needles
- hand sewing needles
- thread snips
- machine sewing thread
- fabric shears
- sashiko thread
- and more!
What to bring:
- a project to work on
- sewing supplies to work on your project
- your sewing machine, or rent one of ours
Location: 1210 W Granville Ave, West Storefront.We're located a block west of the Granville red line station and the Broadway 36 bus.
Accessibility & Parking: There are two steps down to get into the space. Our restroom is not ADA compliant. There is paid parking on Broadway and Granville Ave. I generally can find parking further west on Granville that's free. Note: there's permit parking perpendicular and north of Granville Ave.
