Are you interested in making your singing more authentic, enjoyable, and easeful? Come get some hands-on Alexander Technique work at Open Sing! One Sunday a month, The Open Space will host a hands-on performance workshop for singers of all genres. At this time, no registration is required. Show up ready to sing and please bring music for the pianist in the correct key. Within the 2-hour timeframe, I can work with up to 8 singers. Pay what/if you can. Not interested in singing this time around? Come anyway and cheer on your fellow singers! Not sure if the Alexander Technique is for you? Come and see what it's all about! In whatever capacity you choose to participate, I'd be delighted to have you join the Open Space community for this first Open Sing event.
Please note, you will have to bring your own water. There is no drinkable tap water in the building.
Also note, this is a totally informal performance setting. No memorization required and no fancy dress necessary. We don't wear shoes on the rug anyway. We get cozy and bring snacks!
