OPEN MIC THURSDAYS continue.Join us in the Yerba Buena Gardens from 4:00-6:00 pm PDT for an All-Star edition of the MoAD Open Mic series.
In celebration of the last three years of Open Mic poetry, join host Nia McAllister for an evening of spoken word showcasing a phenomenal lineup of past featured poets.
Featured poets include: Daniel B. Summerhill, Darius Simpson, Donté Clark, James Cagney, Jeanne Powell, Landon Smith, Lyn Patterson, Maud Alcorn, Tayleur Crenshaw, Teju Adisa-Farrar, Reggie Edmonds, and Yeva Johnson.
Please note that this is an outdoor in-person event that will not be livestreamed. A recording of the program will be available for viewing after the event.
Following this event, MoAD and the Contemporary Jewish Museum will be co-presenting Diasporic Futurism: Taking Up (Outer) Space, a performance by GLTTR Collective co-founders Leah King and Juan Carlos Rodriguez Rivera.
