Community Open Mic & Prayer for PeaceIn times when the world can feel overwhelming, one of the most powerful things we can do is come together in community.
Join us for an evening of connection, creativity, and shared humanity. This gathering begins as an open mic space where musicians, poets, storytellers, and anyone with something on their heart are invited to share. Whether you come to perform or simply to listen, the intention is to create a supportive environment where voices can be heard and creativity can flow freely.
After the open mic concludes, those who feel called are invited to stay for a small, optional Prayer for Peace circle. Together we will take a quiet moment to collectively call on higher power—however each of us understands it—to send peace, healing, and compassion into the world.
This event is not political. It is a space rooted in respect, compassion, and shared humanity. People from all walks of life and all belief systems are welcome. The only thing we ask is a willingness to honor one another with kindness and openness. If someone finds it difficult to share space with people whose perspectives may differ from their own, this gathering may not be the right fit.
Our intention is simple:
To create a space where people can be seen, heard, and supported without judgment—and where we can practice something the world deeply needs right now: love, presence, and humanity.
