Franklin County Animal Shelter is holding our annual Maine's Mega Yard Sale on June 6, 2026 at the Farmington Fairgrounds! This event is our biggest fundraiser, and there were over 100 vendors last year, with thousands of attendants looking for deals.
Bring the whole family, or come alone with your wagon, because you are sure to find some treasures and have some fun. Admission is only $1, includes parking (children under 7 are free), and all of it goes to helping homeless animals! You'll have full vending tables with antiques, used items, handmade crafts, art, household goods, canned foods, tchotchkes, knick knacks and doodads galore!
We will have our concession stand open in the Firemen's Booth, with hot food and snacks to sustain your shopping adventures, as well as our info booth with face painting, a visit from our mascot, Frankie the Shelter Dog, and our friendly staff who will be happy to ask your questions about pet care, adoption, volunteerism and other ways you can help support homeless animals in Franklin County!
The Fairgrounds does not allow dogs, unless they are registered service animals.
