Open House: Budget, Businesses, and Barnet
Come join us at The Creative Suite (C219-220), College Building, Middlesex University London for an exciting technical and networking event.
Our Tax and Accountig Clinic (TAC) provides free acounting and tax support to local entrepreneurs and businesses who do not have access to paid accountancy and tax services. Our work is led by third year accounting students, under the supervision of qualified chartered accountants. For more information, please visit our website: www.mdxtac.org.
Richard Jones, Associate Professor, and Deputy Director of TAC will give a summary and his insights on the Labour's Budget.
Cllr Barry Rawlings, Leader of Barnet Council will share the vision of the Barnet's Browth Strategy and how it links to the government agenda.

Unpacking the Labour Budget: make it benefit your business
Host: Richard Jones
Info: Richard will summarise the key changes announced in the Labour Budget and provides his insights to how to leverage the upcoming changes to maximise profits for your business. Richard Jones is Associate Professor at Accounting, Finance and Economics Department, Middlesex University. Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Anderson & Co. He was the Director of Tax Training for the firm before setting up his own consultancy business to provide specialist tax advice to small and medium-sized firms of accountants. He is currently leading the taxation teaching team at Middlesex University.
