Composer, guitarist, and musical world traveler Iqbal wrote this composition for Vireo after an in-depth study—featuring inspiring musicians such as Derek Gripper and Bao Sissoko (Baaba Maal, Zap Mama)—into the fascinating world of the West African Kora.
