At its core lies the world premiere of Otto Gibb’s Saxophone Quartet, a bold new work that features all 4 saxophones exclusively used in each movement
The program also features the evocative colours of J.C. Maynard’s The Onyx and the rhythmic vitality of Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 5 (Portales de Madrugada), alongside a selection of works that showcase the saxophone quartet’s extraordinary range of expression.
