About this Event
This spring has marked one of the most consequential periods for housing reform in New York in years. From the passage of long-overdue SEQRA reforms through the Unlock NY’s Future campaign to Mayor Mamdani’s new housing plan advancing transit-oriented development, more homes across NYC, tenant protections, and an all-of-the-above approach to affordability, New York is making real progress on housing. These victories happened because New Yorkers organized, testified, knocked doors, and kept pushing for change. Open New York members and supporters have been at the center of these victories.
And now, it’s time to celebrate!
Whether you're a longtime member (who helped fight for the new housing being built in Gowanus!) or a new supporter, we'd love to see you there.
Come meet fellow advocates, connect with Open New York members and staff, and celebrate the momentum we've built together, while looking ahead to the work still to come.
The event is free and open to all, with an optional (but highly appreciated) "Pay It Forward" ticket.
