ONEW is a South Korean singer and the leader of the K-pop group SHINee. Known for his warm and emotive vocals, he has been the heart of SHINee’s sound through iconic hits like “Replay,” “Ring Ding Dong,” “View,” and “Sherlock (Clue + Note),” which ranked No. 6 on Billboard’s “100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s.” He also played a key role in The Story of Light: Epilogue, selected for Billboard’s “25 Greatest K-Pop Albums of the 2010s.”
As a solo artist, ONEW has built a distinct musical identity with albums such as Voice (2018), DICE (2022), and Circle (2023)—the latter ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Best K-Pop Albums of 2023.
