About this Event
Intercultural Dialogue Institute–Ottawa (IDI–Ottawa) is hosting the second episode of the IDI Talks series, which aims to bring people from different backgrounds together through engaging events that inspire learning, reflection, and meaningful connection.
Explore the night sky like never before through an immersive planetarium experience, real telescopes, and guided astronomy exploration. Step into a shared space of discovery where science meets curiosity, and connect with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds under the same sky we all share.
Our astronomy theme strengthens this experience by fostering a sense of shared humanity—reminding us that, no matter where we are in the world, we look up at the same sky. It encourages us to think beyond borders while connecting science with global perspective and reflection.
In the spirit of global awareness and Canada’s multicultural values, this event invites participants to reflect on our place in the universe and learn from one another across cultures.
Join us at ‘One Sky’ – a shared universe experience.
From stars to stories, we discover, connect, and explore together."
Step inside a 6-meter inflatable dome and explore stars, constellations, and celestial events projected across the entire sky. Experience the night sky like never before through an immersive planetarium dome, real telescopes, and guided astronomy experiences. Connect with people from diverse cultural backgrounds under the same sky we all share, and share your perspectives in a space of discovery and reflection.
