About this Event

In collaboration with Care Not Cops, Respair Media, Neomi Rao, and Samhitha Krishnan invite you to an exhibition of abolitionist experiments on October 24th, 7-9pm at the Logan Center for Performing Arts Screening Room.

Join us at our “experiment gallery” tabling session to connect with a variety of campus and community organizations that are reimagining safety, justice, and collective thriving, followed by a screening and discussion of One Million Experiments, a film about how we create safety in a world without police and prisons. The filmmakers, Damon Williams and Daniel Kisslinger, and community organizers featured in the film will be spotlighted in a panel discussion and Q&A.

This event is presented in partnership with the Center for the Study of Race, Politics & Culture’s Reimagining the University: Race + Arts Initiative, the 3CT Graduate Student Fund, and the Department of Race, Diaspora, and Indigeneity.

If you have any questions about access or to request a reasonable accommodation that will facilitate your full participation in this event such as ASL interpreting, captioned videos, Braille or electronic text, food options for individuals with dietary restrictions, etc. please contact the event organizer.
