ONE DAY IN THE PARK IS BACK!! 🌳🕺🌞After nearly seven years away, we are more than delighted to be bringing ‘One Day In The Park’ back to Queen’s Park Arena Bandstand as part of our 25 Years of Melting Pot celebrations. 🪩🎂
This has always been a fan favourite for Melting Pot, and it feels right to return to the leafy setting of the Bandstand for a proper summer disco party. 🥳🌴
On the day, Melting Pot resident Simon Cordiner will be joined by Glasgow disco obsessive Al Kent, with a live performance and the world debut of his new Million Dollar Disco Ensemble. 🎹🥁🎷
Continuing the theme of bringing live, orchestral disco back, the Million Dollar Disco Ensemble will be the perfect music for the perfect setting of Queen’s Park. 🏞️🎺
The arena will be transformed into a disco wonderland, with a soundtrack influenced by some of New York’s most famous venues of the era, including Paradise Garage and Studio 54. The glamour and decadence of disco’s glittering age, paired with Melting Pot’s quality production and a state-of-the-art sound system. 💃🏻💅
