Once Upon a Valentine: An Evening with Mellisa Mataraz is an intimate, story-led Valentine’s concert taking place on Friday 13th February aboard a beautifully converted theatre ship on the water. Set within a candle-lit, cinematic setting, the evening invites audiences into a soft, romantic world inspired by fairytale imagery, emotion, and storytelling - a space to celebrate love in all its forms, from romance and friendship to self-reflection, in a truly unique floating venue.
Mellisa Mataraz is an emerging London-based pop artist and singer-songwriter whose music moves between two distinct emotional worlds: dreamy, heartfelt ballads and upbeat, disco-funk-infused pop. Known for her bright, airy vocals and rich storytelling, Mellisa draws inspiration from the vocal beauty of Minnie Riperton, the funky, feel-good finesse of Bruno Mars, and the emotionally immersive worlds of Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey. Following her debut single “You Got That Vibe,” the evening also celebrates the release of her new Valentine’s single “Will You Love Me,” performed live as part of a carefully curated headline set, ahead of her upcoming EP Teenage Diary, due for release this April, before the night continues with a romantic DJ set inviting audiences to linger, connect, and celebrate love on the water.
