About this Event
On The Spot - Dating Show is part dating event, part social experiment and it always ends in same-night date nights where ghosting isn’t an option and spontaneity is rewarded.
San Diego singles are put on the spot and chemistry is put to the test, all in front of a live audience where matches are made in real time - "Love is Blind" style. One Chooser will lead a playful & intentional Q&A, asking three mystery contestants questions and then deciding which contestant they want to take out on a date that night (all without seeing them face-to-face)
Whether you’re in the hot seat or cheering from the crowd, it’s the perfect chance to connect, vibe, and maybe even spark something real.
🌈 While all of our events are LGBTQ+ friendly, this event specifically will have two dating rounds dedicated to the LGBTQ+ single community! There will be one round for women dating women, and one round for men dating men. There will also be a third round for heterosexual dating. 🌈

Here’s how it works:
💘 Game Show: 2-3 rounds of game play in front of a audience. Each round, Choosers & Mystery Contestants, separated by a partition, are matched live on stage. Each match goes out on a date THAT NIGHT —no ghosting, no flaking, just instant opportunity for connection. The dates are sponsored by local partnering businesses, so that matches don't have to spend their own money on the date.

💬 Singles Mixer: After the game show portion, a singles mixer allows anyone to shoot their shot with the contestants that weren't selected or with another cutie they spotted in the audience.
