On Saturday, April 11, 2026, we’re offering our popular Old Town Tour a guided walking tour that takes participants back to the early days of Townsend and the Little River Railroad & Lumber Company. It’s a wonderful look to see the town through the eyes of those who built it.The tour is led by Don Headrick, a lifelong Townsend resident, and is completely free to attend. It begins at 10:30 A.M. and lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
