OLD BLOOD w/ Moonfarmer

Originally founded in 2014, genre-bending band OLD BLOOD were making waves in the

stoner and doom scenes well before the release of their eponymous debut album. After

half a decade building up a reputation and receiving rave reviews from major

publications, 2019 marked a pivotal point in the OLD BLOOD saga — the departure of

their frontwoman Feathers, whose successor Lynx's powerful vocals have come to

define a new evolution of the band.

Dubbed by Rolling Stone as ‘Amy Winehouse jamming with Kyuss at a desert LSD

party’, OLD BLOOD blend influences from Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd to Metallica

and Alice In Chains with crystal clear vocals, psychedelic keyboards, and a groovy, fuzz-

laden desert rock twang. The result is a pioneering addition to the acid doom and occult

stoner metal canons, bolstered by a sophisticated approach to live performances that

transcends the scene’s typical wall of amplifiers and delivers a unique experience for

their diverse and growing fanbase.

Building on a host of achievements, including playing Maryland Doom Fest, featuring in

The High Times’ 2020 ‘Year’s Best In Stoned Entertainment’ list, putting on their own

tour, Acid Doom Over America, two years in a row, signing to Metal Assault Records,

and releasing a single and an EP with Lynx at their helm, OLD BLOOD are now preparing

for their biggest year yet — with their third full-length album, Midnight Climax, on the

near horizon, to be accompanied by a slew of live shows and tour dates.
