Okanagan River Channel Clean-Up

Join us for a hands-on Channel Clean-Up and help keep our waterways healthy.

This site is located on the east side of the channel, on a steep slope beside the highway, so volunteers must be physically able and comfortable working on uneven terrain. Your safety is our priority, and we’ll begin with a brief safety orientation before getting started.

We’ll provide:
• Gloves
• Garbage pickers
• Collection bags
• Basic safety guidance
• Light refreshments

Please bring:
• Closed-toed, sturdy footwear (required)
• Weather-appropriate clothing
Thanks to Bannister Ford for allowing volunteers to park on site during the clean-up! While we love pups, please leave your dogs at home- it won't be safe for them being next to the highway or other participants- thank you!
