We are proud and honored to host Dr. Sejal Hathi, MD, MBA, Director of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), as the featured speaker for our inaugural Public Health Grand Rounds.
As Oregon faces evolving challenges in community health and social policy, Dr. Hathi joins us to discuss her high-level vision for the state’s public health infrastructure.

About the Speaker
Dr. Sejal Hathi is a nationally recognized public health leader and board-certified physician. As Director of the Oregon Health Authority, she oversees the state’s public health services, Medicaid program, and behavioral health systems.
Dr. Hathi’s distinguished career includes serving as a White House Senior Policy Advisor for Public Health and as the Deputy Health Commissioner for New Jersey, where she led significant state-level public health interventions. A graduate of Yale and Stanford University (MD/MBA), she has held faculty positions at Johns Hopkins and Stanford, bringing a rare blend of executive policy expertise and global health leadership to her role as Oregon's chief health official.
