Understand common causes of lower back pain and how to best manage symptoms. Learn ways to prevent, delay or minimize the severity of lower back pain. Use mobility and flexibility exercises to ease lower back pain. Learn ways to mindfully reduce your stress which can ease muscle tension and reduce back pain. Discover how to implement and stick to a strength-training routine that protects your spine. Learn how to maintain lower back health long term.
Registration
Registration is a 2-step process.
Step - 1 Complete the registration on Eventbrite to reserve your seat.
Step - 2 After completing Step 1, Look for a confirmation email in your Inbox, scroll to the bottom under "Additional Information" with instructions for completing your health screening in REDCap. Registration is not complete until you finish Step - 2.

Week 1 - Introduction, care, prevention, and pain interpretation

Week 2 - Mindfulness-based stress reduction (April 21st)
Week 3 - Mobility and flexibility (April 28th)
NO CLASS MAY 5th
Week 4 - Foam rolling (May 12th)
Week 5 - Lumbar, core, cervical and thoracic strength, and stability (May 19th)
Week 6 - Strength training and program wrap-up (May 26th)
