What:
The Offal Party: Pet Edition is an event that will give guests an opportunity to:
Learn:
How to build your pet food brand with sustainability in mind
Regulatory requirements you need to be aware of so you can be set up for success
Imagine marketing messages that will allow you to differentiate your offal products from others in the marketplace
Discover:
resources to support your offal pet journey
Connect:
with offal suppliers, offal entrepreneurs, and pet food and treat experts
Snack:
on a fabulous local offal menu (such as beef heart birria tacos) while you network with others and contemplate your offal next steps.
Why:
The Offal Problem:
- Colorado craft meat producers are facing obstacles when having their meat processed, which results in financial loss and a step in the wrong direction for sustainability and regenerative practices.
The Offal Solution (Pet Edition focused):
- Organ meats are nutrient dense and a great way to nourish our pets! We are looking for ways to incorporate offal into more pet food products and support the necessary players (producers, processors and entrepreneurs) in such a way that will result in greater market access for offal.
Audience:
The Offal Party welcomes all people who want to be a part of a regenerative, circular food system that supports human, animal, and environmental health, including:
- Ranchers/producers of beef and other animal products
- Processors of animal products
- Pet food and treat entrepreneurs (majority are new start-ups)
- Pet industry advisors
- Pet owners who care about feeding their furry friends regeneratively
Free Parking:
**Please park in the N Lot (5 on the map) located directly north of the Vida building. From the parking lot, walk east and then south past the Vida building (1) and cross Bettie Cram Drive to reach the Hydro building (3).
