[email protected] & [email protected] Off Duty presents another dance-heavy session under the tree at The Bird headlined by none other than the Australian-Lebanese, Berlin based DJ Plead.
Fresh off the Read Round City collaborative release with rRoxymore (2024) and with EP's on Livity Sound, AD93, SUMAC and DECISIONS - DJ Plead has become a force in global club music. His sets are renowned for their captivating energy, weaving fury and finesse and melding tough percussive beats with an energy that keeps dance floors in constant motion. Drawing from his Lebanese roots, DJ Plead crafts modern dance music that marries the rhythms, scales, and timbres of traditional Lebanese music with rolling grooves, and dubwise anchors.
As Plead continues to break new ground in contemporary club music, we also know him as a driving force behind collaborative projects like the drum-heavy duo Poison and the high-energy trio BV, as well as co-founder of the SUMAC label.
To join us in the dance, we have enlisted our favourite trusty locals - Rok Riley, Yikes, Lia T, Ben Agüero, and Gillielove.

Accessibility info: The main entrance to The Bird is on William Street. It is 79cm wide and there is a very slight inclined tactile ramp up to the door. To get to the upper deck there are two steps. The entrance doorway to the courtyard is 82cm wide. The courtyard consists of a lower level and upper level. Lower level is accessible via wheelchair, plenty of seating and shade. There are 2 steps, 33cm & 25cm respectively, up to the top level which also has seating and is semi-shaded. The courtyard is a smoking area. NO STROBES WILL BE IN USE!
