The MFI reunion we’re not calling a MFI reunion.MFI was started in 1999 by DJ Dan Lucas with an audacious series of parties at venues nobody thought it was possible to use.
From Scitech to The Kalamunda Water Park, South Perth Yacht Club, every Rollerskating rink in Perth and the Swan Barracks, we danced to the sounds of Drum and Bass, Jungle and Hardcore
in the most unlikely of places. MFI also came correct with some great club nights at venues like Xanadu, The Drumclub, The Globe and Metros City.
The rave scene was exploding and MFI was at the forefront of it all bringing a new generation of local DJ’s to the stages of Perth and a
constant stream of international guests to our shores.
This Boxing Day we gather once again to celebrate our home town and the music we love with some of the DJ’s and the music
that made this period of our lives so special.
