Oceanista - Fashion & Sea is an immersive exhibition at Het Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam, running from October 10, 2025, to April 12, 2026. It features works from renowned international designers such as Chanel, Maison Margiela, Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Thom Browne, Balmain, Off-White/Virgil Abloh, and Moncler, alongside Dutch designers known for their sustainable and distinctive designs, including Iris van Herpen, Duran Lantink, Botter, Martan, Camiel Fortgens, Darwin Winklaar (Niño Divino), and Yousra Razine Mahrah. The exhibition delves into how the sea influences fashion through materials, silhouettes, prints, and symbolism, prompting discussions on sustainability, heritage, and identity. It also invites visitors to reflect on the concept of sustainable fashion and how personal expression can align with a cleaner planet.
