Join us on Ocean Drive on Sunday, March 8th, 2026, for a performance by The Harden Project as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series a free, weekly concert series presented by the Ocean Drive Association. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 5:00 PM.
The spirit of music brought them together and the spirit of love binds them together. When you experience The Harden Project, you will feel the love of music encapsulated in this couple's musicianship. The core of The Harden Project consists of vocalist Ja'Nia Harden and keyboardist John Harden II. These two artists skillfully and fearlessly play off of each other and display fluent chemistry during their performances. Their influences include Bobby McFerrin, Dinah Washington, Al Jarreau, Jimmy Smith, Robert Glasper, and Bobby Floyd. The couple creates a soulful groove featuring fusion-based music of all genres, including jazz and soul.
These events (every Sunday!) are free and open to the public, taking place in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. In case of rain, the concert will move inside The Betsy Hotel.
