About this Event
Join the British Museum’s Community Partnerships team for a special object handling session at Camden Town library and explore how different objects from around the world provide people with comfort or offer protection.
Find out how pieces of clothing or jewellery have been used to provide protection or inspire a sense of identity and belonging to their owners, how objects linked to faith or spirituality provide reassurance and comfort, and share the objects that make you feel most comfortable!
If you are interested in joining this session, please book here, speak to a member of staff at the library for more information, or just drop in on the day.
The session is part of the weekly Sharing Space event with Think and Do Camden.
