About this Event
Woods and their residents have lived through the enclosure of and changes to our countryside over the centuries, spawning folk tales and legends along the way, becoming gnarled and entwined with local history and story. However, many are off limits to the public, closing the majority of us off from these old giants of our landscape. Meet at the what3words location above just off the A390 near Downend (or at Bodmin Parkway Station- email [email protected] to arrange transport to and from the meeting point, limited availability) and come with us to something that we all should have the right to see and experience. Please note, this walk will cover both public and private land, and includes thick vegetation, steep slopes and maybe a fence or two and therefore is not suitable for everyone. Please no dogs.
