Oakland Rising Action's Town Politics Podcast Launch Party!

We’re bringing together local journalists, activists, community leaders, and lifelong residents together to create Town Politics – a podcast hosted by Oakland and San Francisco born and raised Black queer folks who have been involved in Bay Area organizing for decades. In this podcast, we uplift the solutions our community is championing while exposing the far right agenda and the faces behind the dark money in our politics. Town Politics is a place to begin to learn Oakland's history and understand the real threats to our Town’s future.

To celebrate the launch of the podcast, we're hosting a party on September 19th at Sweet Fingers Jamaican Restaurant & Bar in Oakland. Join us as we hear from featured guests on the podcast, enjoy delicious dinner and drinks and vibe to good music.
