Celebrating the release of "Replaceable You"

Join us at Clio's to celebrate the publication of Mary Roach's latest book, Replaceable You: Adventures in Human Anatomy. This will be an informal and delightfully raucous party to extol, laud, and salute Mary and her remarkable oeuvre, with cocktails inspired by her titles (The Bonk! The Grunt! The Stiff! The Gulp!), copies of her books for sale, and an opportunity to thank her in person for her wise, witty, and wonderful writing.

Mary is a national treasure, a Clio's curatorial board member, and a dear friend to many of us in the Bay Area: Let's make Friday, September 19th Mary Roach Day! (Petition to City Hall for same will be available to sign at event.)

Nota bene: This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP with the full intention to attend so that we can accomodate all guests. Be fabulous: Costumes inspired by Mary's work will be welcomed and rewarded.
