About this Event
The Oakhaven Festival will occur on Saturday, April 13, 2024, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Rain Date: Saturday, April 27, 2024)
This free community event, which will be located in Oakhaven Park (East of the Memphis International Airport), has been designed to be a #FamilyFriendlyEvent.
The Kids Zone by Memphis Parks is expected to be a very nice set up of activities for the children in attendance.
There will be an area of the park reserved for community members to congregate and enjoy an old fashioned picnic with their families.
An audience area will also be set up for those who want to listen to music (or maybe even dance).
There will be booths on site from:
- VA Memphis (Come on out veterans!)
- Military Recruiters
- City of Memphis
- Shelby County
- Election Commission
- Local community organizations
- MPD, MFD, and Sheriff's Department
- College recruiter (Univ. of Arkansas)
Food Trucks will also be available on site.
Be sure to leave your valuables and weapons at home and put the belt on the pants...come out and enjoy this community event.
