Welcome to Oak Cliff Death Cafe, a gathering where individuals of all backgrounds are invited to engage in open conversations about death and dying. This group is meant to foster a supportive environment where diverse perspectives are respected, and participants can freely express their thoughts, fears, and experiences. Free event.

About Tammy McNary
Tammy McNary is an artist and a death doula and founder of True Death Experience in Dallas, Texas. For two decades, she worked as a teaching artist in public elementary schools guiding children to take ownership of their creative expression. Tammy also works locally with a nonprofit hospice supporting adult patients and pediatric patients through photographic art projects. She is co-founder of Death Collective North Texas, a supportive and inclusive initiative that fosters connections within the deathcare community while providing education about death and dying to the broader public.
