Az épületekhez hasonlóan a zeneművek is apró alkotóelemekből állnak – hangokból, hangszínekből, szabályokból és azok játékos megszegéséből. A Hangvár sorozat az építőkövekre fókuszál, amelyekből ezúttal népzenei formákat rakunk össze.A sorozat népzenei kiadásának záróeseménye rendhagyónak ígérkezik – a koncert ugyanis táncházzal egészül ki. De vajon hogyan játszik a zenész, amikor táncot kísér? Ki alkalmazkodik: a zenekar vagy a táncos? Mitől lesz „táncolható” a muzsika? Beszélünk szóló, páros, lassú és gyors táncokról, a dűvőről, az esztamról és persze arról, hogy ezek miért kulcsfontosságúak a tánczene ritmusában. A Budapest Folk Duo által vezetett műsor a magyar népi tánczene sajátosságait tárja fel, majd az elmélet gyakorlatba csap át: a sorozat lezárásaként mindenki táncra is perdülhet a Hetedhét táncház extra eseményének keretében, Farkas Zoltán „Batyu” és Tóth Ildikó „Fecske” táncmesterek vezetésével.

Much like buildings, musical works are also made up of tiny building blocks – sounds, timbres, rules, and the playful breaking of those rules. The Sound Castle series focuses on these building blocks, from which we will, on this occasion, assemble forms of folk music.
The closing event of the folk music edition of the series promises to be truly special – the concert will be followed by a fully fledged táncház (dance house). But how does a musician play when accompanying dance? Who adapts to whom – is it the band or the dancers who lead the way? What makes music “danceable”? We will explore solo and couple dances, slow and fast variations, the characteristic dűvő and esztam rhythms, and why these are the beating heart of Hungarian dance music. Led by the Budapest Folk Duo, the programme unveils the unique features of Hungarian folk dance music, then seamlessly turns theory into practice: to round off the series, everyone is invited to dance at the special Seven Kingdoms Dance House event, guided by renowned dance teachers Zoltán “Batyu” Farkas and Ildikó “Fecske” Tóth.
