NYCxDESIGN week: CONCRETE WORKSHOP

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of concrete at this hands-on, in-person workshop during NYCxDESIGN week.

A collaborative experience with Robyn [RYSQ] of Sqrypt Atelier, Louis of Dos Santos Collective, Sam of Caos Mote.

Experience different stylistic approaches to the bespoke concrete home decor casting process.

There are 4 timeslots available. Be sure to specify which option you prefer at check out.

Supplies graciously provided by Montana Shop NY and our favorite local Rivington Hardware store.

This will be a rare opportunity to see a collection of finished concrete work together in one place from these 3 artists while also having the hands on workshop experience to learn the process.
Bringing this offering to the street art community during NYCxDesign week is a meaningful way to mentor and share the process of scaling art to architecture.

Each artist has their own approach and style towards the brutalist raw concrete vibe and the infusion of paint and botanicals during the process and after effect.

Participants will learn how to embrace the different approaches to create functional DIY art pieces like coasters, candle holders, trays, vessels, cassette tapes and more. Each participant will leave with their own custom concrete artwork.
