Romance, sorcery, and talking vultures await at the NYC launch for ! We're thrilled to be hosting author and illustrator as we celebrate the release of their fantastical middle grade graphic novel.
Magic makes the world go round. People know that it's summoned through conflict—but no one knows precisely where it comes from. This isn’t Charlie’s problem. As a librarian in training, it's the quiet life for her.
Then her birth father shows up to take her from her village and bring her to the king’s court. There, she meets Prince Leopold. His falling in love with Charlie wouldn’t be an issue, except he’s already engaged. And his fiancé is the daughter of a very powerful evil witch.
Charlie, panicking, decides to break the news to Princess Robin...but then she finds love at first sight, too. To resolve this very messy love triangle, the teens are sent on a quest to discover the source of magic! So much for the quiet life.
It's a wonderful adventure story, chock-full of memorable characters and hilarious dialogue. Don't miss out on this amazing event!
