About this Event
This won't be just your standard sports nutrition workshop! Instead, we will focus on taking a more holistic approach to nutrition, creating a healthy relationship with food to aid your training.
We will, of course, cover the fundamentals of nutrition for strength training and muscle recovery, including understanding macronutrients, the importance of hydration, and the vitamins and minerals that are essential for healthy bones and muscles.
However, we will also focus on ways to reduce inflammation for faster muscle recovery, how to fuel yourself without leaning on ultraprocessed foods, and how to improve gut health. We will also discuss antioxidants, anti-inflammatory foods, supplements, and other important lifestyle factors such as sleep/rest.
This workshop is open to everyone, and will account for various dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, halal and kosher. If you are on a specific diet, or have a food allergy or intolerance, please write to us so that we can take this into account when delivering the workshop.
