The event also features a Photovoice Exhibition: Living Long in the Distillery District (LLID)—a visual narrative on community belonging, inspired by the LLID photovoice research project led by Dr. Marianne Saragosa, Nurse Scientist (SCI).

Photovoice Photography Exhibition at Rotunda (Admin Building)

Info: Research Project led by Dr. Marianne Saragosa. This program was grounded in contemplative photography, an approach that invites participants to slow down and engage mindfully with their surroundings.
Rather than taking pictures of objects or places with a predetermined goal, participants were encouraged to observe with openness—using their eyes, emotions, and lived experiences to guide what they noticed and captured. This process aligns with the project’s broader goal of understanding how older adults who call the Distillery District community home experience community belonging and aging in place within a horizontal Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC).
This exhibit will happen at the Rotunda, Administrative Building, Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital.
