Nun Monkton Scarecrow Trail, follow the map round the village to find all our amazing scarecrows. This years theme is characters from children’s books- can you solve all the clues to win a prize at the end?Join us for a day of family fun in the beautiful village of Nun Monkton. Starting at Nun Monkton Primary School on the green, where you can buy a map of the trail for £5, follow this around the village and see all our amazing creations and find the clues to solve the puzzle at the end to win a small prize! You can also vote for your favourite Scarecrow and there will be a special service at 4pm at St Mary's Church to announce the winner of the Nun Monkton Scarecrow Trail 2025!
There will also be some fantastic crafts to do in St Mary’s Church and a stall selling locally made cakes and seasonal produce from jams and chutneys to crumbles and fresh apples! All proceeds raised will be split between Nun Monkton School PTFA and St Mary's Church.
Please take care when travelling round the village and be aware of uneven ground and footpaths.
