Lewis Meadows, his brother George, his best friend from their Wood Fold and Standish High days, Eddy Price, and a newly acquired friend, Josh Otchere make up indie 4-piece Blue Sky Day. The Wigan band released their debut single Days & Nights back in December 2025 and have been smashing the local music scene.

The Stance

Hailing from Hull, The Stance are a four-piece indie rock band bringing a fresh twist to their sound. With influences spanning ska, rock, indie and disco, their broad musical taste feeds directly into their songwriting, creating a style that feels both eclectic and cohesive, held together by a strong chemistry as a band.

Before stepping into original material, the group spent four years performing as a covers band, playing regularly in pubs and venues across their hometown. This time on the live circuit helped them build a tight musical bond, both as performers and collaborators.

In 2025, The Stance made the decision to fully commit to their own music. Since then, they’ve honed their sound, something clearly captured in their latest single FLAT 73. After steadily building momentum on the local scene, they have since signed with independent label Warren Records and are now working on their debut EP.
