Novel-Tea: The Marigold Edition

Novel-Tea is a monthly pop-up that blends the joy of reading with the warmth of community and the comfort of tea. Guests enjoy quiet reading time, meaningful connection with fellow book lovers, and a curated tea experience featuring custom blends from Black-owned tea brands. It's a space to slow down, sip, and share stories.

This month at Novel-Tea, we're spotlighting African indigo with a special tasting of indigo tea from Nebedaye Farms, grown with care by a Black-owned botanical farmer. Alongside our usual cozy reading time and space to connect with fellow book lovers, guests will:

• Learn about the rich history and practical uses of indigo— from healing to natural dyeing
• Try their hand at dyeing with indigo! Bring a small natural fiber item (cotton, linen, silk) to dip in blue hues
• Enjoy quiet time with your current read and warm company
• Sip a soothing indigo tea blend, made with intention and care
