Danssteg spökar i Ellen Söderhult, Ellen Söderhult spökar runt på Palladium. Fauner, friare, operademoner och deras moster är inbjudna till ett medley av dansgastar.Spökdanser använder idén om spöket som något som är både frånvarande och närvarande samtidigt, för att dyka ner i relationen mellan dansaren och dansen, jaget och miljön. I sitt solo Spökdanser kallar Ellen Söderhult på sina spöken, dansas av sina egna dansgastar: krafter som agerar på avstånd. Tiden är ur led och kroppen är vaktmästare för en samling danser.

Dance steps haunt Ellen Söderhult; Ellen Söderhult haunts Palladium. In Ghost Dances Fauns, suitors, opera demons and their aunt are invited to a medley of dance ghosts.
Choreography invokes history and allows that which is past to be resurrected and made present again. Hence, in it we find questionable dance ghosts littered around and running rampant. We find that dances echo their performers and performers echo dances; choreography is revealed to be a haunted art form.
Ghost Dances does not adhere to a strict definition of what is ghostly. It embraces the idea of the ghost as something that is simultaneously absent and present in order to delve into the relationship between the dancer and the dance, the self and the environment. Ghost Dances is a solo in which the dancer summons her ghosts, danced by her own dance phantom with forces acting at a distance. Time is out of joint and the body is the caretaker of a collection of dances.
