About this Event
Join education and skills leaders from across the North of England for a focused, practical event exploring how the sector can respond to policy change, strengthen inclusion, and align provision with local and national priorities.
The event will open with a keynote from Gateway Qualifications, setting the context for the day and highlighting key developments shaping the skills and qualifications landscape.
You’ll hear the latest Ofsted updates, with a particular focus on inclusion and the new inspection framework, offering timely insight into what providers need to know and how to prepare.
Through a series of panel discussions and expert-led sessions, the event will explore how providers and local areas are:
- Supporting employment through local and regional approaches
- Putting learners first, using learner voice and inclusive practice to shape provision
- Influencing and responding to skills policy, from local priorities to national direction
- Developing future-ready provision, aligning curriculum design with employer needs, Local Skills Improvement Plans, Combined Authority priorities and the Industrial Strategy
The conference will also create space to look ahead, focusing on opportunities to grow and collaborate across the sector.
