The North Leeds Charity Beer & Music Festival returns this April for two days of live music, traditional Yorkshire ales, delicious food and genuine community spirit. Organised by the Rotary Club of Roundhay, the festival has raised over £100k since 2012, supporting local charities, youth projects and community initiatives.
This is more than a beer festival — it’s a community celebration with music, food and fun for all.
? Live Music
Friday 10 April
- Stroke of Genius Big Band (Marquee): Swing, Glenn Miller classics and modern big-band hits; returning for their second festival appearance.
- Topaz: Contemporary jazz with audience interaction, dancing and singing.
- Elevation Avenue: Soul, funk, pop and rock covers blending old favourites with the latest hits.
Saturday 11 April
- Pop ’n’ Rock Choir: Uplifting community choir performing iconic pop and rock anthems.
- CC Easy Jazz & Blues Trio: Smooth acoustic jazz and blues with quirky modern touches.
- Kinda Blue: Leeds-based blues band performing classic blues that shaped British music.
- Scott & The Antarctics: Party favourites with a special guest female vocalist.
- Swamp Donkeys: Reunited Roundhay School alumni performing original indie-rock hits.
- Setlist: Talented Allerton Grange students with fresh indie-rock energy.
- Sicknotes of Cawood: Energetic rockabilly, swing and pop for a lively festival finale.
Both days offer a mix of styles, ensuring there’s something for every musical taste.
? Drinks & Food
Enjoy 36+ traditional cask ales from Yorkshire breweries including Kirkstall, Leeds, Ossett, Rooster’s, Wishbone, Craven & Daleside. There’s also a Gin & Prosecco bar, with gluten-free and alcohol-free options. Festival food favourites will be available throughout the weekend, including kid-friendly snacks at a small extra charge.

Saturday afternoon (12:00–5:30pm) is designed for families, with:

All children must be parent-supervised at all times. Adults can relax, enjoy drinks, music and the festival atmosphere.
