North Bay Jobs with Justice Block Party & Fundraiser

We are so excited to announce that the date of our annual Fundraiser & Awards Ceremony will be Sunday November 10th, 2024. We hope that you can join so that we can continue our work for economic, racial, and climate justice across the North Bay.

Since our last fundraiser, with your support, we are continuing to build power with workers on the frontlines of the worsening impacts of climate change while at the same time strengthening our whole coalition:

• We supported hotel workers in winning the union at what had been the largest non-union hotel in the county!
• We won Disaster Pay at the first vineyards and wineries in the whole country, which is compensation for work lost when workers can’t work as well as extra pay for work in dangerous conditions!
• We opened up the first office ever for our organization, which has become a hub for worker and community organizing across our coalition and in our area!
• We supported teachers unions in multiple districts to win new, fair contracts!
• We have continued to grow our program of climate resilience training for farmworkers with an emphasis on Traditional Ecological Knowledge
