Norfolk FWAG - Spring Farm Walk

Join us for a Spring Farm Walk. As we bring in the (hopefully) warmer weather join us for a couple of hours to hear what's happening on Hall Farm, including:

• An introdction to Hall Farm, and their vision for the farm (Rob McIndoe)
• An update on the Regenerative Agriculture taking place on the farm (Regen Ben)
• An update on the Higher Tier Scheme being developed by NFWAG (Henry Walker)
• The next steps for the Breckland Farmers Wildlife Network (Richard Evans)
• How businesses of all sectors can contribute to farming (Jordan Sharman)

Expect a relaxed, yet informative, walk as we get to see the Brecks at it's best, and have an opportunity to network in beautiful surroundings.

Please Note:

This farm walk is open to all organisations and interested parties, and we welcome and encourage those outside of farming to attend.

About the Farm:

Hall Farm, Illington, follows a regenerative farming approach with 2026 being its third year transition away from intensive agriculture. The farm has several environmental schemes running, including Countryside Stewardship, Mid Tier, Higher Tier Stewardship, Sustainable Farming Inventive and CSHT Woodland. The farm is involved in widespread pond management, as well as being a member of the Breckland Farmers Wildlife Network; dedicated to conversion to scrub and cultivated margins. The farm is part of Norfolk FWAG's Norfolk Deer Strategy, and regularly collaborates with organisations including Natural England, Catchment Sensitive Farming, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Norfolk Rivers Trust, Forestry Commission, and Regen Ben.
