Norwegian pianist Oda Voltersvik returns to Seattle to amaze us with her virtuosic technique and enchanting musicality. She brings a program exploring mutual comparisons and influences of several of Edvard Grieg’s contemporary composers including Agathe Backer-Grøndahl, Wilhelm Peterson-Berger, Claude Debussy, and Bela Bartok, expanding our understanding of Grieg’s music and his sphere of influence.Featuring:
