Love Letters to Tacoma- A Shared Writing Experience

Love Letters to Tacoma is a community storytelling experience happening during the Tacoma Literature Festival.

This is a space to pause, reflect, and put your relationship with Tacoma into words whether it’s love, grief, growth, nostalgia, or something in between. The heart behind this project is to cultivate a radical connection among the tacoma community.

At this experience, you’ll be invited to:

• Write a letter to Tacoma (Starting with 'Dear Tacoma-')
• Reflect on a memory, moment, or feeling tied to this place
• Can be 1 sentence or 1+ Pages
• Contribute to a growing collection of community stories that will be published in a book.

You don’t have to be a writer or live in Tacoma to participate, you just have to have felt something here. You never know what experience will impact your community neighbors...every story is important.
