Calling all art enthusiasts - Get ready for the ultimate festivities at the very first NoDa Bizarre! Back in aughts, NoDa hosted an All Arts Market to keep the spirit of the arts alive in our community. After a hiatus, NoDaRioty is bringing back this festival but refreshed for 2024. We’re aiming to keep NoDa a vibrant and art-filled community by promoting the spirit of the arts with local artisans, musicians, and independent film. The Bizarre will feature a vibrant artist bazaar, live music, art demos, an interactive mural scavenger hunt, and much more. While enjoying the artist bazaar, jam out to live music featured by Falllift, Dane Page, and Greg Steinfeld.Bizarre visitors are encouraged to check out the festivities at the Johnston YMCA but also to explore the NoDa community art hotspots, using our gallery map to lead the way. After the completion of the daytime festivities, stick around for an outdoor movie showing under the stars of “The Sandlot” starting at 8:30pm, featured by the Independent Picture House. The movie will take place on the “front porch of NoDa” – aka the Johnston YMCA lawn – and there will be popcorn and other refreshments available for purchase. Bring your blanket and the whole family along!
