Wizualne opowieści powstały z myślą o konkretnych lokalizacjach z wykorzystaniem architektury i unikalnego klimatu staromiejskich przestrzeni. Centralnym punktem wydarzenia będą pokazy twórczości brytyjskich artystów i artystek, m.in. uznanych mistrzów, w tym Martina Parra, oraz młodych fotografów i fotografek związanych z londyńską The Photographers’ Gallery: Sereny Brown, Lewisa Khana, Niny Manandhar, Alice Poyzer, Zuli Rabikowskiej, Ciana Oba-Smitha. W programie także zdjęcia z imponującej kolekcji fotograficznej Victoria & Albert Museum wybranych specjalnie na tę okazję: Thomas Annan, Jennie Baptiste, Dorothy Bohm, Bill Brandt, Maurice Broomfield, Robert Brownjohn, Isabel Agnes Cowper, Francis Frith, William Henry Fox Talbot, Emil Otto Hoppe, Tom Hunter, Sarah Jones, Normski, Paul Martin, Dieter Meier, Mark Power, Sarah Pickering, Micha Riss, Simon Roberts, John Thomson, Agnes Beatrice Warburg, G.W. Wilson.
Pokażemy wybór projektów spośród prezentowanych w tym roku podczas Rencontres d’Arles autorstwa: Abdulaziza Al-Hosniego, Adeline Care, Susanne Duppen, Federica Estola, Asafe’a Ghaliba, Erika Irmera, Ann-Christine Jansson, Henriego Kisielewskiego, Eleany Konstantellos André, Keerthany Kunnath, Antoine’a Martina, Domenica Matery, Marisol Mendez, Adeline Praud, Louisa Rotha, Adama Rouhany, Alexandre’a Silbermana, Sary Aue Sobol, Isabel Tirado, Alexeya Yureneva i Kamila Zihnioglu.

This year’s edition of the Night of Photography, organized under the slogan City Limits / Limits Within the City, will take place on 12 September 2025, from 6PM to 11PM. Large-scale outdoor projections of photographs in as many as six locations—spanning both the Old and New Towns—will transform the city into an open-air gallery. Photos by artists from Poland and the United Kingdom will be presented alongside a selection of works shown at the renowned Rencontres d’Arles Festival. A rich accompanying programme will include, among others, a discussion on the state of contemporary British photography. The event will open with a vernissage of Jakub Stanek’s To Build a House exhibition at Rynek 30 Gallery.

Also featured are photographic projects by Patryk Karbowski and Maria Książek, members of the Association of Polish Artists-Photographers, as well as works by photographers associated with the Polish Women Photographers collective: Małgorzata Wakuluk and Paulina Holtz.
At the heart of this year’s Night of Photography will be presentations of works by British artists, featuring renowned masters such as Martin Parr alongside emerging photographers affiliated with the London’s Photographers’ Gallery. The programme will also include a review of the Victoria & Albert Museum collection, featuring, among others: Thomas Annan, Jennie Baptiste, Dorothy Bohm, Bill Brandt, Maurice Broomfield, Robert Brownjohn, Isabel Agnes Cowper, Francis Frith, William Henry Fox Talbot, Emil Otto Hoppe, Tom Hunter, Sarah Jones, Normski, Paul Martin, Dieter Meier, Mark Power, Sarah Pickering, Micha Riss, Simon Roberts, John Thomson, Agnes Beatrice Warburg, G.W.
