Open Exit brings their blistering New York–bred sound to Chelsea Table + Stage for a night of raw, unfiltered intensity. The four-piece band channels the dissonant experimentation of Sonic Youth, the cathartic grit of Nirvana, and the atmospheric heaviness of Deftones into a set that is equal parts chaos and clarity. Blending grunge, punk, and noise rock, Open Exit crafts a wall of sound that feels both volatile and deliberate.
Having played stages across the Lower East Side and throughout Brooklyn, the band has built a reputation for high-energy performances that leave nothing held back. Their music confronts difficult and urgent themes—race, domestic violence, addiction, alienation, and depression—transforming lived experience into distortion-soaked anthems. Audiences can expect explosive dynamics, haunting melodic breaks, and a performance that feels as intimate as it is confrontational.
