NMB-Hinge: New Works by Graduate Composers

The second night of the residency is a student-focused collaboration presented by New Music Brandeis. Unlike Friday’s professional showcase, this concert is the culmination of a year-long collaboration between the Hinge Quartet and Brandeis University’s graduate composition department.

The program features five world premieres written specifically for the quartet by our PhD and Master’s students. This is a unique opportunity to be the first to hear these brand-new works and to witness the creative dialogue between world-class performers and emerging composers.

Featured Composers: Ali Can Puskulcu, Ruide Gao, Dylan Needleman, Matthew Surin, and Peter Han.
